International law firm Dentons have announced that Richard G. Liskov has joined as a senior counsel in the Insurance Regulatory practice in the firm’s New York office. Liskov provides a comprehensive range of acquisition and reorganization services to insurers, reinsurers, producers and financial institutions dealing with licensed insurers. He regularly counsels clients on securing and maintaining all regulatory approvals and licenses to market and sell insurance products.

Mayer Brown have announced that Michael A. Scodro has joined the firm as a partner in the Supreme Court & Appellate practice in Chicago. Prior to Mr. Scodro’s most recent stint in private practice, he spent more than six years as the Illinois Solicitor General, where he oversaw the civil and criminal appeals divisions of the Attorney General’s Office, supervising more than 40 attorneys in appeals in which the state was a party. He also advised the Illinois Attorney General on constitutional and other significant legal issues.

Law firm Allen & Overy have announced that Eugene (Gene) Ingoglia has joined the firm’s 12-partner-strong U.S. Investigations and Litigation practice in New York.
