International law firm Schonherr welcomed to its already strong real estate practice the attorney at law Alexander Babinek to its ranks. Alexander Babinek, known for being a real estate and private foundation expert, joined the Schoenherr real estate team in April 2017. He usually advises and represents national and international clients on real estate transactions and property development projects. Additionally, he has a special focus on private clients and private foundations. Prior to joining Schoenherr, Alexander was part of a corporate and real estate team at an international law firm in Vienna. He is the author of several real estate, corporate, and private foundation law-related articles. Alexander is regularly involved in complex national and international real estate transactions and frequently advises US and Italian clients on their business activities in Austria.

Global law firm Latham & Watkins LLP  announced that Terra L. Reynolds has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner in the Litigation & Trial Department, in the White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice. A former federal prosecutor, Reynolds’ practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal and government investigations, and complex litigation for clients in the healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.

International law firm Wolf Theiss has named Marcell Németh as partner. He has worked in the Banking & Finance practice group since 2015, focusing on financing and portfolio transactions in Central and Eastern Europe. He spent half of his more than 20-year career as a lawyer at leading law firms in England. His areas of specialisation include advising creditors and borrowers in international financing transactions, including those for infrastructure and other projects. He also advises in the structuring of and transactions with credit portfolios. Németh is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and as an attorney-at-law in Hungary. He is the author of several publications dealing with banking law. Born in Hungary, he has earned a diploma in philosophy in addition to his degree in law.

Greenberg Traurig Added OSHA Expert To  Employment Team. In what the firm calls a “strategic addition,” Michael Taylor joins Greenberg Traurig’s Northern Virginia office as a shareholder, where he will draw on his experience working for OSHRC — the federal agency that hears workplace safety matters that pop up between the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the private sector.
