Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie have announced the election of 80 new partners. This latest investment in the Firm’s expertise grows the total number of partners worldwide to nearly 1,600. Over 400 of these are women – the most of any law firm. During Financial Year 2017 Baker McKenzie added 59 lateral hires, bolstering the Firm’s already strong client service capabilities in key practice areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Dispute Resolution, Banking & Finance and Tax, among others. A third of the lateral hires are women. Combining this year’s promotions and new lateral talent, the Firm added 139 partners to its ranks.

Caldwell has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a partner in the White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice in September.
