István Pozsgay has joined the Insurance practice of CMS as Of Counsel, effective from 2nd of October.

István brings over 20 years of experience working as a commercial, transactional and regulatory legal professional in multinational corporate environment at US-based insurance companies in Hungary. Before joining CMS, István was Head of Legal and Data Protection Officer at MetLife Hungary and General Counsel and Compliance Officer at AIG/ALICO Hungary, where he also gained robust experience in compliance and data protection matters.

South Korea, Seoul

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its international arbitration capabilities in Asia-Pacific with the arrival of new partner Jun Hee Kim, who will join the Seoul office.

His arrival supports the Firm’s 2020 strategy focus on growth in disputes and he joins the Global International Arbitration Practice and the existing Asia-Pacific arbitration team, with lawyers based in Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore. Kim brings broad experience advising on international arbitrations in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America, as well as advising clients in the construction, engineering, intellectual property, technology and shipping sectors. He will be based in Seoul following approval as a Foreign Legal Consultant from the Korean Ministry of Justice.
