DLA Piper have announced that Leigh Martin has joined as partner in the Intellectual Property group in Leeds. Leigh has a highly successful intellectual property law practice, acting for household names with interests in the UK, the EU and worldwide. He is ranked Bank 1 in Chambers & Partners for intellectual property in Yorkshire and was founding tutor on the ‘IP Transactions’ course at University College London’s Institution for Brand & Innovation Law (IBIL).

DLA Piper have announced that Lars Reubekeul and Dr Florian Biesalski into the Real Estate practice in Frankfurt and Munich. Lars Reubekeul was recently Head of Real Estate Germany at King & Wood Mallesons. He advises on national and cross-border real estate transactions and their financing. He has far-reaching experience in all types of real estate work and all real estate asset classes. Dr Florian Biesalski is primarily focused on assisting clients in the hospitality and leisure sector and has an excellent reputation among both investors and operators. In addition, Florian regularly advises on cross border real estate transactions involving Asia.

Norton Rose Fulbright have announced that Patrick D. Dolan, an experienced structured finance and securitization lawyer, has joined the global law firm’s New York office as a partner. Dolan focuses his practice on asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations, which often involve innovative structures. He represents warehouse lenders, issuers, underwriters, investors and multi-seller commercial paper conduits.
