Top international law firm in Warsaw seeks an outstanding associate to join their international finance team. The ideal candidate is a lawyer with at least 5 to 8 years experience of financing and related work and must be fluent in English.

Our Team

This firm’s finance and projects team acts for lenders and investors at all levels of the capital structure as well as corporates/directors, insolvency officeholders, regulators, borrowers and issuers, central banks and government institutions with a focus on key sectors including real estate, energy, infrastructure, debt and buy-out funds. They work closely with team members in related practice areas, including finance, corporate, real estate, employment, pensions, tax, environment, regulatory, capital markets, and litigation to provide the clients with a seamless and integrated full service of legal advice.

Basic requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to support the team and will have experience of advising on various matters relating to financings and restructurings including refinancings, debt for equity swaps, the use of various restructuring techniques, strategic advice relating to the acquisition or disposal of distressed debt, security reviews, dealing with counter-party risks and a wide range of other corporate and financial issues arising from the current market conditions. What is key is strong knowledge of how banks and bonds work, facility agreements operate. Exposure to more commercial issues/ structuring transactions is a plus. The Associate should be able to develop the trust of the Partners and colleagues alike. You will have a mature, confident approach and be highly motivated, thriving in a fast-paced demanding environment. Fluency in English and Polish is required.
