Our client, a leader in the legal sector, is seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager, to join their team in Dusseldorf. The position is a full time, contractual based role, and is available immediately.
The successful candidate will be responsible for workforce planning, setting the recruitment strategy to ensure the firm efficiently and effectively attracts high caliber talent. You will also manage the lateral hires, which will involve you meeting with the partners and senior management team members, determining the staffing needs, and implementing the appropriate strategies and plans to fulfill the headcount targets.
Graduate recruitment is also an area that the firm wishes you to focus on in this role – forecasting future graduate talent numbers and capability requirements. Oversee and manage all aspects of recruiting the law students, including on-campus programs, attending job fairs and student outreach events.
Oversee the active management of the experience of all graduate placements- mindful matching of students to work types, conducting regular appraisals. Continuous identification and sourcing of outstanding student talent for future graduate roles within the firm.
Build networks and strategic relationships with relevant student organizations and groups, to advance the firm’s recruitment plans. Oversee the management of candidate data files in respect of open mandates and all active candidates. Ensure the candidate has an excellent recruitment/application experience. Responsible for working closely with the Managing Partners to ensure strong employer branding in order to attract the top talent in the legal market, throughout Germany.

The ability to work collaboratively with the Talent Leadership team to lead the function of Talent in Germany.
Be a key relationship partner for the Office Managing Partner, understanding the unique needs of the office and converting this into the overarching Germany talent strategy.
Have expert level understanding of the legal market ensuring talent functions are always aligned with current and future needs of the business.
Drive the design and refinement of the processes and tools in respective areas, to deliver functional excellence and innovative solutions.
Plan for work to be carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible.
