Our client is a well-reputed international law firm with offices across the CEE region. They seek a generalist associate lawyer, with corporate, contract or labor experience to join their team in Slovakia.

You will be part of a dynamic Corporate team of Slovakian and expatriate lawyers where you will be active in supporting the creation of deal structures, planning and implementing strategies for both acquirers and sellers in domestic, regional and cross-border transactions. You will commit to investing the time and energy required to provide clients with a superior level of service.

The firm has extensive experience in tackling clients’ complex employment cases and is uniquely capable to tailor solutions to different legal standards around the world. You will work with domestic and international clients in developing executive employment contracts and incentive schemes. You will be equally comfortable representing these clients in workforce issues such as handling dismissals of a small or large scale. Aside from your core strength in employment law (or keen interest to focus on this niche), you will also have had exposure to employment disputes and administrative proceedings, compensations & benefits, and tax.

Role requirements:

  • significant experience in handling corporate, contract or labor matters
  • strong academic background and qualifications from reputed universities
  • sense for exceptional client service, including excellent communicational and interpersonal skills
  • good business development and management skills
  • Minimum 3 years post bar experience gained in an international environment
