Our client, one of the world’s leading law firms, is looking for an ambitious mid-level Banking Associate to join their Finance & Projects Practice in Amsterdam. The firm advises clients on both Dutch and English law on major transactions in Benelux and beyond. Their clients include banks and other financial institutions, credit funds, equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, companies and governments.
The firm’s practice advises on a broad range of banking and finance transactions, general corporate financings and acquisition financings, loan workouts, leveraged buyouts and restructuring and insolvency.
The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of Dutch commercial law and 4-6 years of experience as a banking lawyer gained in an international environment. You will be given responsibility for running transactions and working closely with clients. This means that you will develop outstanding transaction management and organisational skills as well as developing superb technical abilities. Strong written and oral communication skills in both Dutch and English are key.
