Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, has opened a new office in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, in Central America. Dentons is the first global law firm to open an office in El Salvador.

With this new office and other recent combinations, Dentons is rapidly becoming the leading global law firm in Latin America, growing faster in the region — with truly high-quality firms — than any other firm has ever done before.

This new six-lawyer office uniquely positions Dentons to provide high-quality legal services to clients around the world and within Latin America. Benjamin Rodriguez, the office’s managing partner, has been a legal consultant for multiple leading local and international companies in various industries.

The San Salvador office launch comes on the heels of a new strategic alliance announced last year with Brazil’s Vella Pugliese Buosi Guidoni, with offices in São Paulo and Brasília, which followed Dentons’ combination with Peruvian firm Gallo Barrios Pickmann. It also follows the launch of Dentons López Velarde in Mexico and Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas in Colombia, as well as of Dentons Muñoz in Central America.

As Dentons Muñoz Central America, Dentons now covers the whole Central American region from our five offices in four countries: Guatemala, El Salvador, San José and Guanacaste in Costa Rica, and Panama. Clients throughout Central America will now have access to the experience and talents of more than 8,800 lawyers working from 159 offices in 67 countries on six continents.

The new El Salvador office enhances our firms’ depth and reach in key business sectors and practice groups, including Banking and Finance, Corporate, Competition and Antitrust, Anti-Corruption, Notary Services and Real Estate.
